Chinese telecom equipment supplier Huawei announced on December 6, 2010 that the company will deploy an ILD (International Long Distance) network in Central America for Luxembourg-based mobile phone network provider Millicom, according to a press release by Huawei. As per the agreement, the network will cover Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador using Huawei's One Network solution. It is reported that via the One Network solution, Millicom will be able to provide new types of long distance services, open revenue streams, and strengthen customer loyalty.
